Company Director Eric van der Horst grew up in The Netherlands with cycling as a natural means of transport. As a young lad he explored most of Western Europe by bicycle. He has also cycled further afield to North America, Australia and New Zealand. He has published various books about cycling in Dutch. In English he wrote a guidebook about cycling in The Netherlands and another guidebook about a route from London to Land's End is due for 2013. Besides his work for EOS Cycling Holidays, Eric also works as a Cycle Route Surveyor and Cycle Route Consultant, see also his homepage.

Originally from Northern Ireland, Company Director Dawn Connor - van der Horst has taken on the cycling passion of her husband. She has a history in project management and is committed to ensuring everything runs smoothly at EOS Cycling Holidays. She is also the driving force behind the Westcountry Cycle Training, a Bikeability training scheme which serves North Devon and beyond.
